AP and University Application Calendar 2026–27: Key Dates for Students Outside the US
From November 2026 to September 2027: AP Exam registration, College Board ordering deadlines, UCAS and Dutch application deadlines, AP Exams and scores, with official sources.
A plan is built backwards from the deadlines
A plan to study abroad is really a calendar: when you register for each AP Exam, when the score reaches you and when the application closes all depend on each other. The dates below were checked on official pages on 17 October 2026. Times are given in the time zone the source uses, with Türkiye time (UTC+3) where it helps.

The UCAS deadline for Oxford, Cambridge, medicine, dentistry and veterinary courses was 15 October 2026; it has passed for 2027 entry.
November 2026: AP Exam registration month
If your school does not offer AP, the key date is 6 November: Prometric Istanbul's first registration period closes, and every exam costs USD 40 more in the next period. Schools that accept outside students set their own dates and fees; the College Board's own ordering deadline for schools is 13 November. See our Prometric Istanbul registration guide for the steps.
January 2027: the UK and the Netherlands
- UK: for most undergraduate courses, your UCAS application should be with UCAS by 13 January 2027, 18:00 UK time. UCAS allows up to five choices.
- Netherlands: the deadline is 15 January for numerus fixus programmes and 1 May for all other programmes. These are general deadlines; always check your programme's own date. AP scores arrive in July: what that means for your applications
Scores for AP Exams you take in May 2027 are released in July 2027, so they will not be available for applications sent in January 2027. If your target university asks for a certain number of AP Exams, completing some of them in grade 11 makes the plan much easier. You can choose a university for your free score send until 20 June 2027.
Germany and other countries
In Germany and many other European countries, deadlines depend on the university and the programme; there is no single national date. Use the date on your target programme's page.
