When are AP exams held?
AP exams take place every year in the first two weeks of May. The College Board announces the exact dates each year.
How are AP exams scored?
AP exams are scored from 1 to 5. A 3 or higher is generally considered a pass; universities often ask for a 4 or 5 for credit, exemptions or as an entry requirement.
Can I take an AP exam if my school does not offer AP?
Yes. You can register at an authorised AP test centre that accepts students from other schools. Test centres have different capacities and registration deadlines, so contact them early.
Are the lessons online?
Yes. All lessons are online, so you can join from anywhere. We are based in Turkey and schedule lessons across time zones.
Do you offer SAT preparation?
No. Our focus is AP courses, AP planning for European universities and study abroad application consulting.
Can I apply to a European bachelor's programme with a non-EU national diploma or a US-style diploma?
It depends on the country, the university and the programme. Some universities accept these diplomas on their own; others ask for an additional qualification, such as specific AP exams, a foundation year or some completed university study. For example, some Dutch research universities list a national diploma plus at least four College Board AP exams scored 3 or higher as an entry route for applicants of some nationalities. Requirements change, so we always check the university's current requirements before we plan.
